About the Tor Bus

The route goes from St Dunstans Car Park by the Abbey along Magdalene Street, Bere Lane, Chilkwell Street, Coursing Batch, Ashwell Lane and Basketfield Lane to the Tor. It then travels via Stonedown Lane, Wick Hollow, Chinnock Road, Selwood Road, Fielding Path, Leg of Mutton Road, Wells Road, High Street, Magdalene Street, back to St Dunstans Car Park.
This is a convenient way to get to the Tor and then walk back down into town on a descending path. Other attractions along the way include Glastonbury Abbey - romantic ruins with over 2000 years of history - as well as The Chalice Well and Gardens - an ancient holy well set in beautifully landscape gardens at the foot of Glastonbury Tor.
