Your Trusted Transport Team

• • •
Mendip Community Transport (MCT) is a not for profit organisation with Charitable status. The company was formed in April 2002 and is limited by guarantee with a board of Trustees and no shareholders.

Our aim is to provide transport for community groups and individuals in the Mendip and Sedgemoor areas who’s needs are not meet by conventional transport services. In particular, we aim to provide for the elderly, people with mobility issues, the young, and anyone who could otherwise be isolated by lack of access to suitable transport services.

MCT is located at Quarry Way Business Park, Waterlip near Shepton Mallet where our operations and administration teams are based.

Since 2002 the business has grown from operating 5 mini buses to having a fleeting of 30 today. We also operate a Hospital Car Scheme managing a team of 50+ volunteer drivers using their own vehicles to provide transport to medical appointments.

Throughout the Coronavirus Pandemic, MCT has continued to operate and provide essential services to support vulnerable and isolated people across Mendip and Sedgemoor.
